Welcome to the community health calendar of the southern Illinois region. The purpose of this community calendar is to highlight healthy activities and events occurring in our region that are open to the public. On this calendar you will find health events such as Relay for Life, health conferences, family fun nights, Heart Walk, etc. There is something for everyone. 

It is the pleasure of the Healthy Southern Illinois Delta Network (HSIDN) to serve as a catalyst for improving the health and overall quality of life in southern Illinois. The HSIDN is made up of seven local healthy community coalitions under the direction of a steering committee representing the seven health departments in the lower 16 counties of southern Illinois and Southern Illinois Healthcare. Each healthy community coalition brings together social service agencies, health providers, community groups, businesses, public health and other interested parties, to improve the health of their community through programming, advocacy and increased resources.
